What Is Resetting the Table?
Resetting the Table (RTT) is dedicated to building meaningful dialogue and deliberation across political divides on Israel. Drawing from facilitation and mediation expertise, Resetting the Table’s unique approach supports participants to move through charged conversations with trained facilitators and carefully structured process, designed to support stakeholders to speak, listen, challenge each other, and make decisions together with honesty, mutual recognition and respect. RTT seeks to systematically reshape North American Israel engagement to be more welcoming, constructive and empowering.
Resetting the Table's celebrated Speaking across Differences workshop provides community leaders with tools to build a culture of productive dialogue on charged political issues even in the face of passionate disagreements.
Participants exchange views and experiences, practice communication skills for addressing disagreement, and learn best practices and success stories from other communities. The methodology is practice-based and experiential, walking through road-tested exercises participants can replicate in their own institutions.
RSVP to the temple office no later than 5:00pm, Wednesday, April 11th
