Donate today

If you’re wondering why we have a Big Brother Big Sister Foundation (BBBSF) bin in our parking lot, it’s because we’ve been offered a generous annual donation in exchange for collecting new or used clothing from our members.

Since BBBSF does important work, Raquel Rosenblatt, President of HBT, and Rabbi Penzner evaluated the offer and decided it was a good fit. We’ve already received one significant donation of several thousand dollars and this can be repeated annually IF we gather enough clothing on a regular basis for them to cost justify this contribution.

Since HBT is operating on a very tight budget, the added donation is welcome. However, if it is to continue, we need to make sure that the bin is filled on a regular basis.

The good news is that we’ve told our neighbors and several community organization that the bin is available for their drop-offs as well and we’ve been receiving lots of clothing donations from neighbors and local businesses.

To help us ensure that these donations continue into future years, please think of HBT when you have any used clothing to give away and, during your next trip to the Temple, you can drop your donation in the bin. This will go a long way toward helping us pay our bills.

Please place your items in our bin to help thousands of children throughout Massachusetts.
