Thoughtful Ways to Give
Some members and friends may wish to consider these options. Please consult your financial or legal advisor.
- IRA Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs) If you are age 70½ or older, you may give directly from your IRA without paying income tax. If you are 73 or older, this can satisfy your Required Minimum Distribution. Ask your provider to include your name and Concert 2026 on all documentation.
- Gifts of Appreciated Stock Donating securities held for more than one year may help you avoid capital gains tax and maximize your deduction.
- Donor-Advised Funds Recommend a grant to HBT from your existing donor-advised fund.
- Bequests and Legacy Gifts Naming HBT in your estate plans ensures the community you love continues for generations.
