Dear Temple Hillel B’nai Torah Members,

We hope you are enjoying the summer and staying cool! As we take time to relax and refresh, we also look ahead with excitement to the new Jewish year, 5786. HBT is already buzzing with preparations for the High Holy Days and for a vibrant year ahead.

By now, you should have received the membership renewal packet in the mail, including information about dues, the High Holy Days, and Chaverim School. These forms are also available online. Please return your completed forms by Friday, August 22. Timely submissions are essential to our planning—especially for the High Holy Days. If you have not received the packet, please contact Benita.

This past year, we’ve seen encouraging growth in membership, Chaverim School attendance, and engagement across a wide range of programs. We’re excited to continue building on this momentum and expanding our offerings in the coming year.

While Temple Hillel B’nai Torah strives to be a welcoming community where no one is turned away due to financial hardship, we rely on membership dues to sustain our high-quality programs and services, maintain and repair our building, and ensure our beloved staff receive a living wage. If our dues structure presents a significant financial challenge, we encourage you to reach out—we do have flexibility. That said, we ask that you be as generous as your circumstances allow.
