Light It Up!

A Shabbaton of Spirit, Song & Connection

A Shabbaton close to home

It's time to sign up for the HBT Shabbaton — a vibrant, community-building weekend filled with heartfelt worship, learning, music, great food, creativity, play, and plenty of time to connect with friends old and new.

Come sing, learn to play mahjong, study Torah, attend an outdoor service, see a variety show, play a kickball game. We are excited that this is Pride Shabbat, where we will acknowledge and celebrate our diverse and welcoming congregation. Whether you come on your own or with family, there will be something for everyone!

Music & Prayer Friday evening: Shabbat Rina. Saturday: Greeting the Day with Song, then traditional, outdoor, yoga, and chanting services.
Shared Meals All meals included: Friday Shabbat dinner, Saturday light breakfast, kiddush lunch with zemirot, and Saturday dinner before the Variety Show.
Fun Activities Mahjong, kickball, hikes, games, music, and more — Saturday afternoon sessions shaped by your interests. Tell us what you'd like at registration.
Learning Torah study, discussion groups, and more — program still developing. Your input at registration shapes the sessions.
Variety Show Saturday evening community performance before Havdalah. Singers, comedians, storytellers, musicians — all talents welcome. Sign up at registration.
Pride Shabbat Celebrating HBT's inclusive community. There may be some attendees who plan to attend the pride parade on Saturday — perhaps leaving around 11 and returning around 3. Would you be interested in joining such a group?
