No More Deaths

NO MORE DEATHS!
“Do not stand idly by”
A First-hand Report from the Border
Slide Show and Presentation
Sunday, April 29
4:30-6pm at HBT

Since 2004, about 7,000 people have died in the Sonoran desert, trying to cross from Mexico into the US.  Jamaica Plain resident Mary Ann Kopydlowski, a nurse at Boston Health Care for the Homeless, has volunteered for many months in the Arizona Sonoran Desert with borderlands activist organizations, to prevent deaths and provide humanitarian aid. Come hear her report and see her slides about conditions at the border, what is happening on the ground, the story of the hundreds of volunteers working together to prevent more deaths, and how we can help.  This event is co-sponsored by HBT and Theodore Parker Church.  All are welcome.  For more information, contact Nechama Katz, nekatz@comcast.net or 617-942-0779, or the Temple office.
