Dr. Kaufman has lectured extensively and most recently is conducting seminars on Post Holocaust Identity narratives among young adults. The Allen J. Worters Lecture honors the pursuit of Jewish learning at HBT. Each year Jewish teachers, writers and thinkers look at various perspectives on Jewish identity. Eleven years ago, HBT created a permanent endowment to support this annual lecture in honor of congregant Allen J. Worters (of blessed memory). Our goal is to continue to raise money so the fund will continue in perpetuity and provide an honorarium for speakers from the accrued interest.
